Can you walk the Queenstown Trail?

  • On the shores of Lake Wakatipu starts a great journey, over 130kms of well kept off-road trails taking you from Queenstown to Gibbston via historic Arrowtown. Walk or ride a short section or take 4 days and fully immerse yourself in the alpine vistas of the Queenstown Lakes district.

How far is it around Lake Hayes?

  • Lake Hayes Loop Track is 8 kilometers (5 miles) long and takes most people around two hours to complete.

Can you walk down from Queenstown gondola?

  • The Tiki Trail starts at the Gondola base and ends at the Skyline complex. It is a moderate hike and requires a good level of fitness. The walk time is an estimated 45 – 65 minutes one-way depending on your level of fitness.
